How to Make a Cat by Art Club

Welcome to the Art Club! This branch of the LI Youth Development Inc. promotes creativity, encourages patience, and develops artistic abilities. Currently, we hold classes to teach kids how to sew plushies. Our goal is to introduce sewing to beginners and help them learn a beneficial skill necessary to our daily lives. The Art Club chose to sew plushies aiming to make a fairly tedious activity more fun and engaging for younger kids. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and are able to take away something that will be useful to you as you continue to learn and grow.

Sewing classes are held every month at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library. If interested, they are listed under kid’s programs at this link. https://emmaclark.librarycalendar.com

Please reach out to info@liyouthdevelopment.org with any questions.
