Angelina is in the Class of 2026 at the Stony Brook School. International affairs and politics, specifically foreign policy, have always been one of her longtime interests. Most recently, she attended a summer program at Georgetown University on the topic of Foreign Policy, where her group won first place among 100+ students on a research project. In this project, she worked with the Ambassador, political counselors, and military attaché of the relevant country at the embassy located in Washington D.C. In addition, she has attended programs on the topics of International Politics and National Security and Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University, respectively. Besides international politics, Angelina has a deep interest for her local community, working for Councilman Jonathan Kornreich, being on the Brookhaven Town Youth Board, and participating as the Director of Communications of the International Council at the Stony Brook School. Outside of academics, Angelina attends the Manhattan School of Music as a classical voice major, while also cantoring at weekly masses for her church. She is in the pre-professional division at New York Dance Theatre, having been a dancer for twelve years. Angelina has also received the PVSA Gold Award since 2020. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in the foreign service in order to work with world leaders to spread peace and diplomacy worldwide.
